Claremont Fan Court School
Client: Claremont Foundation
Clearview forms part of the existing campus of Claremont Fan Court School in Esher, Surrey. The principle building on the site is an 18th century grade I listed mansion designed by Capability Brown.
We were asked to convert Clearview, a 1970’s bungalow that was previously used as a residence by the school head, into two new classrooms and associated facilities for early years pupils. This work was completed over a very short time frame over the summer recess to ensure it was available for occupation at the start of the autumn term.
In detail the work included the provision of two classrooms, cloakrooms, staff room and storage space. It included all new lighting and services and the incorporation of an existing integral garage to give additional floor area.
